Don’t Catch the Ball!

Are you freaking kidding me. I started this article seconds after the SEC Championship game. I have never been so disappointed to have correctly predicted the winner of a football game; now we have to Alabama play under the spotlight again, in the BCS Championship game. Why did the Georgia receiver catch the ball? Everyone knows that if you catch the ball, the clock will run out. They were finally getting a good drive, and the receiver just had to ruin their chances at winning the SEC.

It was one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time, despite the result. You would expect the coach to be excited after a huge win, right? Well stone-face Nick Saban looked as sober as ever; it looked as if his team had lost to the Bulldogs. There was much more offense than I expected, I was pleasantly surprised.

I have much more to add about this game and more news including MLB coverage, but time is an issue. Great articles coming your way tomorrow.

  1. I agree with Hayes, any receiver wouldnt have caught it, instead they should have been looking to through the ball into the endzone instead of a covered reciever 5 yards out.

  2. Honestly, to back him up. How do you not catch it? the ball is tipped or thrown in your direction your instinct is to catch the ball not hit the ball away from you. I know he shouldn’t have caught it but anyone as a receiver would have caught it.
